Bonnie Berk's Wellness DVD and CDs

Bonnie Berk is a Registered Nurse, Master Personal Fitness Trainer, and Registered Yoga Teacher with a Master’s Degree in Health Services and Wellness Promotion. She is a pioneer in using Yoga as a complementary therapy for helping people with cancer, chronic diseases and special populations. Bonnie has been practicing Yoga since 1971, has studied with numerous teachers throughout the years and developed her own method of Yoga for Health which is student centered. She teaches a form of improvisational yoga to best meet the needs of students in her classes.

if you are pregnant, please remember:

bullet Exercise in ways that are safe.
bullet Obtain permission from your Obstetrical Health Care Provider.
bullet Exercise regularly.
bullet Avoid exercising in hot or humid weather or when you have a fever.
bullet Wear loose-fitting clothes.
bullet Drink plenty of water before, during and after exercise.
bullet Avoid jerky or bouncy movements.
bullet Avoid exercise that stress your joints.
bullet Wear sneakers during all standing aerobic exercises.
bullet Do not exercise on your back after the first trimester of pregnancy.
bullet Avoid holding your breath.
bullet Increase caloric intake to meet the demands of pregnancy.
bullet Exercise at an intensity that allows you to talk.
bullet Have fun and avoid exercising above your individual level of tolerance.
